Stormie

"Stormie" was the last baby of our Spring 2026 calving season.  She was born May 5th at night in a heavy thunderstorm.  

Stormie was 53 pounds and quite vigorous.  She made it all the way across the big pasture and under the electric line within a couple hours.  Mom was not happy!  Thank goodness, our mamas and babies are easy to handle.  It just took a second to pop her back under the fence where her nervous mama welcomed her with nuzzles and warm milk.  

We have high hopes for Stormie.  Her mama is one of our best and sweetest cows.
